Yes, this is an in-person performance event.

There is no provision for online submission.

Anyone, regardless of age and nationality, can participate in this competition.

This event is held on 25 - 26 July at Sunway University School of Arts, 1 – 2 August at Grand Palace Hotel Miri and 8 August at MCKL Penang (Pykett Campus). Full programme of the day including the time-table of each category will be announced one month before the event.

Yes, the entrance pass is RM 20 per person. Registered participants are allocated ONE free entrance pass for their family member / friend.

You will receive a performer’s medal, certificate of participation, personalised adjudicator comment sheet and other promotional items from our sponsors.

There will also be special prizes awarded to the top performer in the music and drama categories. The special prize winners will receive a free participation entry to one of the listed international music or drama festivals.

Marks will not be allocated for attire or what the participant wears. Participants are generally expected to be attired for a performance on stage.

For the drama categories, participants are encouraged to be in costume reflecting the work.

No memorisation of the music work is required, and any memorisation will not attract any extra marks.

Memorisation is required for the drama category.
